Wanted to add the Hazmat endorsement to my license and needed the ELDT Hazmat course. The school I took for my CDL didn't offer it and referred me here, money well spent. I signed up on the 26th and passed the exam on the 29th. I'll definitely be back if I want to add other endorsements in the future. Thanks, for the educational online course.

I was seeking a different career opportunity after retiring from my previous career of many years. I decided that driving a school bus as a substitute would be an opportunity to still work with children, but in a different capacity. Frenchy was my instructor and he was a boat load of knowledge, that he graciously shared. Along, with the patience to guide me through with gentle correction. He encouraged me the entire way. Even when I was doubting myself he continued to support and foster my educational journey, for this a humongous THANK YOU Frenchy!!!

When I came to this school I was really nervous, little did I know this would be one of the best experiences of my life. An excellent school with great staff from top on down.Josh is a fantastic teacher and a great person he got us through the written process with enthusiasm and knowledge. And Dave was my on the road instructor and he was consistent and patient and very knowledgeable I consider myself very lucky to have been taught by him. Experience was very good. Instructors have a great way of teaching adults/young adults everything to know about driving a class a or b vehicle. I highly recommend Dave as an instructor due to his skill of explaining everything into a simple way for people to remember it and having a great history with trucking . The crew in the office are very helpful with anything you need help with on testing, paperwork, and scheduling. Midwest is a 10/10 school for truck driving. All very kind people. Highly recommend coming here. Frenchie is also another great instructor that I recommend. He makes the time go by fast while learning everything needed due to his great sense of humor. Frenchie is the god of truck driving!

I’m 55 and going back to school for anything was a nightmare.How ever from entering the front doors the office/ Kat…made things I didn’t know how to do much easier then I thought.All of the Instructors had answers to every question I had. I’ve always been a hands on person so taking tests on paper was a huge down fall for me. With all the information and knowledge they have here I past my tests with ease!I still have one more test to take but I’m certain with these instructors behind me I’ll do great!Thank you Midwest truck!

Finishing my first week of class today (3/8/24) and I couldn’t be happier with the results and the teaching staff here. Midwest Truck Driving School is Fantastic! These guys are highly educated with each instructor specializing In his own unique experience. Very talented guys here. I also went to the heavy equipment certification part of the school before I did the CDL which was an awesome experience as well. One of the instructors from the heavy equipment side was nice enough to take his personal time out of his day to wish me good luck at my CDL licensing. The entire school cares about their students education and does what they can to get them their if you put in the effort. I HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone.

When I started TDI I was pretty nervous. But our instructor did an awesome job teaching us. By the time we were done with all the driving and learning we were very able and capable of passing our driving exam! Lisa and Brian and Mark our instructors are very cool! I have to admit I was a little nervous about driving on my final exam! But Brian is very skilled and immediately put me at ease. He is very good and very clear on what you are to do and how to do it. And he is very patient! I am glad that I had the experience that I had at TDI. Since my graduation I have a class A CDL, I have also taken the tankers test the doubles and triples test the Hazmat test and I passed them all and have those endorsements. I have also apply for and I'm waiting on to get it back my TWIC card. After much job searching and deciding on what I wanted to do and which way to go. Because there were many options and many companys wanted me to come to work with them. I chose Swift Transportation. I am going to orientation on Monday for my 2-day orientation. And then I will be placed with my mentor for the next month. I'm very excited about the future! And all this began at TDI! Thanks again guys for everything thank you Lisa and Brian and Mark!

I was looking for online training for HazMat, and found Midwest Truck Driving School, I liked what I saw, so I looked them up on the FMCSA registered OLDT providers list, and sure enough they were there. I purchased the Hazmat training, watched the video, and took and passed the test. Unfortunately when I went to my local DMV here in Washington State, they said they don't accept online Hazmat training. And that I had to take a 16 hour class for HazMat. The 16 hour classes provided here in Washington are $300 to $450. So I called MTDS to ask for a refund. At that time Ian (I believe) informed me that his boss had already called me, and issued me a refund earlier that day. So I checked my voicemail and sure enough he had called. I checked my PayPal, and sure enough there was my money refunded! Ian had informed me that Washington is the only state out of all 49 states that doesn't accept online Hazmat training. Washington is stupid!I thought the training from MTDS was very good, and I do recomend them to anyone who's state WILL accept the online training!I wondered, when researching MTDS, how they achieved 317-5 star Google reviews.Now i know how. Good training material, and great customer service!Thanks guys!I appreciate you.

Here's what I think of Midwest Truck Driving School.I think it is incredibly helpful to have an affordable school willing to help people gain their endorsements and their CDL's without having their hands out for every penny someone has. I think it's incredible how time efficient this school is in getting the point across with things that aren't just on the test but good to know for not just your safety but everyone else's safety.Watching the video and the way everything was explained I was able to get 100% on my ELDT exam.Thank you for helping me obtain my hazmat endorsement.

My instructor, Dave, was very thorough and knowledgeable in preparing me for the state CDL test. I learned air brakes, passenger and school bus endorsements. I had plenty of road time and in-yard maneuver practice, as well as school bus inspection practice. He took me from never having driven a school bus to being comfortable and safe behind the wheel in a week's time. Great school. Worth every penny! Thanks, Dave!

Midwest truck driving school is the way to success if you're looking into getting a class A license. The staff and instructors are experienced and knowledgeable. Easy to talk to and approachable. Really makes you feel at ease. You get to learn how to drive 10 speed manual transmission which I like. If you're from out of town, no worries the school can setup your stay at the Quality Inn while you're in school. It's very close to school as well. Midwest Trucking Driving School is terrific. While teaching us very serious and important stuff, the instructors and staff are enthusiastic, responsive, helpful, and joshing each other funny. They are very vet respectful and friendly. And being at this school you are more part of a happy family than just a student, and they welcome you staying in touch for career updates, help, and advice. Escanaba is a nice town. I am currently enrolled at Midwest truck driving school and the instructors are very helpful and patient. They explain everything easy enough to understand and are willing to go over material if need be. I'm glad I chose this school and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be a semi driver

Great school for those looking to get their CDL. The instructors are all super nice and make the class efficient as well as fun. If you are interested in getting your CDL in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, this is definitely the place you should go. Just make sure you have a sense of humor coming in to this, cause all of the instructors like to make this course funny and enjoyable.

Great experience here as I attend in fall of 2021. The instructor's are very experienced, patient, and knowledgeable. The teaching and training is focused on attaining CDL A & B. I was really pleased with the student's support for one another and we succeeded with team work.

When I first got here all of the instructors and staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and all want you to succeed. They never let you fall behind and want to see you get better everyday, I highly recommend coming here if you want to enter the industry or even just for your class b or anything else. I 110% encourage who ever wants to earn there CDL to come to Midwest. The introduction at this school is over the top amazing. They help you with your struggles and whatever you need help with and they will push you to your best. The staff is full of enthusiasm and humor. They are very informative and keep to a set curriculum. They stay up to date with all the new changes in the trucking industry and they are very informative. They give you plenty of time to drive the trucks on the road and in the yard to get your yard maneuver down. Overall it’s a great experience and a great school lots of great people

One of the best decisions I have ever made in my life was to go here. Every single instructor gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to pass my cdl tests, and make me a good driver. They treat you more like family than students. It was a wonderful atmosphere to be a part of. I took the 160 hour class in July 2021. Every staff member was Professional, great sense of humor and works with everyone. If you are having problems with anything like docking etc they work and work with you. I recommend Mid West Truck driving to all who want to be a truck driver. Took the class, definitely not dissatisfied. Very good communication with everyone. You will NOT leave without some sort of certification. If you struggle with something, they will work with you on that one thing. I had Bob as an instructor and my group had so much fun while learning a lot!

This school is awesome! I encourage any individual that wants to get their cdl to attend this school. They are extreme professional and very personal. All of the instructors are very friendly and do everything in their power to get you ready so when you jump behind the wheel of a semi you are confident and not scared. This is for everyone with different skill sets when it comes to driving semis. The instructors will teach you everything from the basics up to what you will need to perform on the road to keep everyone including yourself safe!

When going to Midwest I didn’t know what to expect besides I’d be leaving with my cdl but as soon as the first week was over I already had higher expectations then just leaving with a class A cdl. They go above and beyond to make sure to help you in a professional manner and put emphasis on not having restrictions on your license and this is why they train us off the back in 10 speeds. When your there you feel at home, and if you need extra help in any way they push you to come ask. I would recommend 10/10 to anyone to go to Midwest trucking school all of the instructors are very great at their job! Thank you guys!

Josh and Kyle put together an excellent school for people that have no idea about CDL operations. I had some experience that put me a little ahead of the curve for the first week but it was a great refresher. They hand picked very knowledgeable instructors that want to see the success of the students. They ready you for your final state test to the T. Very thankful for them and the new direction that my life is headed in because of them!

Great place to go get your CDL. It honestly didn't feel like a school at all, we all had so much fun and learned everything you need to know to hit the road. I doubt there's a better place out there that even compares to this place. All of the staff was great and very helpful. Kevin was my instructor and was awesome! Thanks Midwest truck driving school! Excited to come back and go through the line school next. Big shout out as well to Josh for taking us climbing and all of the help along the way!

If you’re looking to take the jump and obtain a CDL I would highly recommend you consider attend Midwest truck driving school, from the in class work to learning how to drive and maneuver a truck and trail all the instructors are very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you have 10/10 would recommend this course for anyone looking to get a class A CDL!
