Applicants, please follow the steps below in order to receive your Class B CDL Theory Training per the FMCSA’s ELDT Requirements. This online ELDT Theory Training is for applicants needing a Class B Commercial Driver’s License. This online training will take about three to four hours to complete, and you may go through the training material as many times as you’d like.
This online ELDT theory training is approved in all 50 State’s. Upon completion of the course you will be issued a Certificate of Completion and inputted to the FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR). You will then be able to go down to your State’s department of motor vehicles (DMV, BMV, SOS, DSD, MVD), then you can take the behind the wheel range and road driver training. Step One: Fill out Student Enrollment Form below.
Step Two: Click “Pay Now” and pay for the online course and create a login.
Step Three: Once you have completed the online training you will receive an email containing your Certificate of Completion. Then within one business day you will be submitted to the FMCSA’s Training Provider Registry (TPR).

Absolutely! Midwest Truck Driving School is an approved training provider in the FMCSA’s national database (TPR). Midwest Truck Driving School has been training for over 25 years. All of the School’s courses are approved in all 50 State’s to teach the FMCSA’s Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT).
The Class B CDL online theory training typically takes students around three to four hours to complete. Students may go through the material as many times as they’d like as there is an extensive amount of information presented throughout the online training.

Students may go to the DMV within 24 hours of completing the Online Class B CDL ELDT Certification. Students will also receive a Certificate of Completion after finishing the entire online training and passing the final exam with an 80% or better.
You have access to the online training as long as you need! There is no time limit for the course. You can start the class on your smart phone, continue on your desktop, and finish on your smartphone again if you’d like.
