Midwest took us in when NMU got closed down. They had us in class and training within days. Our instructor Billy Oglesby is top notch. Everyone there went above and beyond to make sure we finished our training and set us up to be successful truck drivers. Billy has put me in contact with possible employer as well. I can’t say enough about Midwest Truck Driving School in Escanaba, MI. Everyone there was super friendly, and more importantly SUPER HELPFUL. I went there to learn how to drive a manual truck, and that’s exactly what they taught me. I felt like I had a whole team behind me, helping me become a better driver. Josh, Dave, Penny, and Bill (and the girls in the office) all leant there considerable knowledge (and patience 🫣) to helping me succeed. If you are thinking about becoming a truck driver, or want to improve your skills THIS is the place to be! Also, Escanaba is a beautiful little town that makes your experience stress free and enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I highly recommend Midwest Truck Driving School to anyone looking to get their CDL. I'm currently taking my Class B training here, and the experience has been excellent. My instructor, Frenchy, is very knowledgeable, patient, and extremely hands-on with his training. He takes the time to make sure you understand everything and gives you plenty of real-world practice behind the wheel. The training is straightforward, professional, and focused on helping students succeed.
