OSHA Excavation Competent Person Online Training – $49

Federal OSHA Regulations 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P – Competent Person for Excavation, Trenching, and Shoring Training is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to become a competent person for excavation, trenching, and shoring activities in accordance with OSHA’s requirements.  This course is utilized by utility, excavation, and construction contractors across the country to certify OSHA CFR 1926 Subpart P training requirements.

The online Competent Person course will cover the following topics:

• An overview of OSHA regulations and requirements for excavation, trenching, and shoring
• Soil mechanics and classification
• Protective systems, including sloping, benching, shoring, and shielding
• Hazard recognition and assessment
• Emergency response and rescue procedures
• Safe work practices and procedures
• Inspection and maintenance of protective systems
• Competent person responsibilities

Upon completion of the online course, participants will be able to identify potential hazards associated with excavation, trenching, and shoring activities, select and implement appropriate protective systems, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Participants will also be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to serve as a competent person for excavation, trenching, and shoring activities.

This online competent person course is ideal for operators, laborers, construction managers, supervisors, safety professionals, and anyone involved in excavation, trenching, and shoring activities. It is also suitable for individuals seeking to expand their knowledge and skills in this area and those preparing for OSHA certification exams. The course is delivered online, providing participants with the flexibility to complete the training at their own pace and convenience 24/7. 

This training will take applicants around three hours to complete. It can be taken at anytime on your convenience on any device. Once completed and final exam passed, applicants will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Midwest truck driver school, everyone was nice to the students, it was nice to meet new people and my instructor was Mac, he was teaching me about stuff on the semi truck, we had a great fun blast on the road trip up to Marquette, MI.

Customized a 1 week class A non-restricted class for me. First day I was extremely overwhelmed but Mac was by my side helping me through it! On day 3 I am leaving a lot less nervous about everything you need to remember! Learning manual along with all of the book work and wording can be a lot but this school will spend the time with you to help you succeed on test day.

The best part was driving the truck all over and the first week does gets to be a lot but after that it becomes very easy. For the final test you are the teacher teaching the DMV tester poeple. All you need to do is study and study throughout the weeks.

Midwest got me sorted for my class b with the p and s endorsement and all set for my bus route this current school year.my instructor French was fantastic, very in depth and detailed with all the info I needed to know and put everything in an easy to understand and easy to learn way. I took the Class B CDL course with Paul “Frenchy” Perryman. He was a great instructor, and everyone at MTDS in general was great. When I started the course I had never driven a manual before, but the course was very hands on and I was able to get lots of experience driving trucks, parking trucks, and learning the parts of the truck during the week.
