The grant can also help with materials, fuel surcharges, lodging, medical and exam testing fees, and mileage to and from school. The exact amount depends on your individual situation — but in most cases, the grant covers most of these costs.
Students who successfully complete CDL training and earn their license are eligible for a course completion incentive payment.
All training must be completed by June 30, 2026.

Yes. The Wisconsin Workforce Advancement Initiative is a state program that funds career training in high-demand fields. CDL truck driving and heavy equipment operation both qualify. We've been an approved training provider since 1998.

No. Our programs are designed for people with zero experience. Most of our students have never touched a truck or a piece of heavy equipment before day one.
All training must be completed by June 30, 2026. CDL training is 4 weeks. Heavy equipment is 6 weeks. The sooner you start, the better.
Most employer-paid programs lock you into a 1–2 year contract. Leave early and you owe the money back. This grant has no contract, no payback clause, and no employer obligation. You train, you earn your credential, and you work wherever you want.
